David Lewis and Colin Watson - paintings

After gaining a Fine Art degree and teaching for several years, David spent twenty years as an animator. He returned to painting (and teaching) three years ago. David likes to experiment with colour to create illusions of space & movement.

 

Colin Watson was born & educated in Peterborough. He studied sculpture & photography at Goldsmiths College, School of Art. For 18 years he was a member of a large scale public arts group working on large scale mural projects, then i n East Anglia and the East Midlands working on multi media projects.

Colin's recent drawings & paintings have focused on an exploration of the natural world, some landscapes, with a particular fascination with trees.

.Linocuts & Etchings

Louise Stebbing is an experienced artist/printmaker.
1983 BA(hons) Fine Art Degree at Sheffield
1985 Postgraduate course in Printmaking at Camberwell School of Art in London.

Louise works mainly in etching, linoprinting and screenprinting. Imagery is based on surroundings and exotic places visited .
Etchings are atmospheric, screenprints and linocuts bright and colourful.

She has exhibited extensively throughout the UK and has won prizes for her prints

1999 won the "Best Print in the Show" at the Eastern Open in Kings Lynn
2005 won the title of "Artist of the Fens" at an exhibition in Spalding.
Louise is included in the new edition of "The Dictionary Artists in Britain Since 1945" by David Buckman.
